How to choose the best portable charger

  • Physical Size : Portable chargers come in all shapes, sizes and weight. Physical size and battery capacity go hand in hand. If you are looking for an ultra portable charger, you will have to sacrifice the battery size.
  • Battery Capacity : You will want to determine how much power you need and how often you will want to charge your power bank. If you are just looking for a power bank to keep your bag in an emergency, a power bank with less than 5,000 mAh will suffice. If you want to use your power bank several times before recharging it, point to one with more than 10.00 mAh.
  • USB ports : The more ports the power bank has, the more devices you can charge. Many chargers come with 2 ports: 1A port and 2.1A port.
  • Charging Output : Most portable chargers will come with either 1A or 2.1A output port or both. These numbers indicate the maximum charge rate in amps. Therefore, the higher the amperage, the faster the device charges, assuming it is compatible. A 1A output port is suitable for most smartphones, while old phones (such as feature phones and mobile phones) require a 0.5A port. Tablets, iPads require a 2.1A outport for great charging. Power banks capable of carrying portable computers are likely to come with a 3A port.
  • Case and material : If you plan to use your outdoor outdoor battery, you want to choose one made of durable materials like aluminum or silicone.

Android slow? How to make your phone faster!

This week a friend of mine got a Motorola Milestone 2, whose model number is the A953 and I’ve been tinkering with it a bit to feel the difference from Milestone 1.

At first I thought that Milestone 2 was extremely faster than Milestone 1, which I use on a daily basis. I had already used Milestone 2 a little bit and the other time it did not turn out that much faster. I went to take a closer look at what was happening with my phone and can improve his speed a lot and make the battery last longer.

As? Simple! The fewer programs running the less you use memory and battery. With more memory the phone becomes more agile when you unlock it for use. Before it used to take up to 10 seconds for the icons to appear on the home screen and then I could use it.

Steps to make your Android phone faster

  • Uninstall programs that you do not use. Often these programs run in the background without you knowing and consuming memory.
  • Do not use task killers continuously. Open it when it is necessary to kill some app and then close it again. No matter how well-intentioned these programs are, they spend a fair amount of memory and processing, making their battery last for less.
  • Leave the network connections on only while you need them.
  • Close the programs like Skype, MSN, Gtalk, Google Maps,
  • Facebook, Twitter and others when not using. Several programs in memory make the phone slow.
  • Do not use animated wallpaper.
  • Do not use widgets that are not extremely needed. Staying showing the latest YouTube videos or a preview of the photos in your home will consume memory and battery atoa! Prefer simple icons because they are not processes running on your phone.

These simple tips were enough to make my handset much faster and hopefully help you in setting up your Android phone! In fact, these tips cater to any type of smartphone, right?
